I suppose you're all wondering why I asked you to come here.
well we did sort of wonder. aren't you well?
of course I am you stupid boy. do you think I'd ask you here if I was sick?
just shut up and let me get on with it. I know you're all dying to get off home.
that's not true for all of us. I love it here.
yes yes perhaps you out of all of them brought some sunshine into my life.
now let me tell you why you're all here.
acting on the advice of my solicitors I decided to make a bequest to certain of you
in order to save death duties. as you all know you were all adopted by my late
brother and his wife. God bless them. you all come from widely different
backgrounds. the only thing you had in common was that they were all very poor
and humble backgrounds. for that reason growing up in this fine house has been a
wonderful experience for you all. I have no doubt that it gave you all a great
deal of pleasure. I will now explain I have also over the years gained some pleasure.
