Let's talk about favorite seasons.
My favorite season is fall because I love where I'm from.
It gets gloomy and rainy and I love the rain.
The rain is my favorite thing.
Where I'm from, it's a small town, Santa Fe, if you guys have ever heard of it.
I love just the traditions we have in the fall that come with it.
We have fiestas and we pick la reina.
They go to the ********** schools and high schools and they pick someone in the crowd
to be a king or a queen for the day and you feel really, really special.
That's really nice.
We have this thing called Zizobra.
That is a really cool tradition, but I'm sure others would be really freaked out by it.
We basically have this giant paper mache doll and we call him Old Man Gloom.
We write down things we want in our past to disappear.
People will write down things.
People have even put old wedding dresses in it to burn.
We stuff him with a bunch of stuff and then we put him up.
Then there's these dancers and they come out and dance and then we burn him.
It symbolizes burning away the negative energy.
It's a really cool thing, but it sounds really weird.
We burn him and they yell, "Burn Old Man Gloom!"
Then we yell, "Que viva la fiesta!"
Everyone's ***** and we're burning this big paper mache doll.
