Well, thank you for meeting me. I was just looking over your grades and it would seem that some of them are slipping a bit.
Um, so, I thought it would be important that you and I had a meeting to discuss what to do about that.
And the last thing that I would want would be for you to fail this course because, and of course, how would that look on your GPA?
No college, no great college would take you there.
So what do you think that we should do about this?
Um, I thought about maybe private tutoring, but then, you know, I wanted to have a little bit more hands-on control of the situation with you.
Um, so I didn't really want to put you out on a tutor. I'd rather maybe take you under my wing, um, since I could find the time to do it.
And, um, you know, the future of my students is definitely very important to me.
So, um, maybe we could meet together after class each day this week for say, I don't know, 20, 30 minutes or so and just go over things and ponder how to make sure that you not only pass the class,
but maybe make up for lost time and be able to make out with an A.

And, um, I know this might seem awkward, but I find that with my students, I get the best results when, um, they're, let's say, naked.
